Born October 20, 1969, Valentino Dixon grew up o n the Eastside of Buffalo, New York. As an only child Valentino was a gifted artist who loved to draw. He attended Buffalo Academy for Visual Performing Arts. At 21 he was arrested for a crime he did not commit and was wrongfully convicted. Sentenced to life in prison, he drew up to ten hours a day, gaining national attention after drawing the Warden’s favorite golf hole, “The twelfth hole of August”. With help of the caring people including a Golf Digest Journalist , the Golf Channel and Georgetown University, Valentino was eventually exonerated in 2018, after twenty-seven years of false imprisonment. As a free man, Valentino continues to draw. He’s sold art to some of the most famous people on the planet, including Michelle Obama. He’s been nominated for three Emmy’s. Has written and published  his own book, “The soul of a unfreed man”. Valentino has received a gold medal from the Vatican for his peaceful spirit and challenging journey. And continues to excel, creating a clothing line, Art Foundation, and Youtube series teaching others how draw while discussing real life issues. The infamous Jack Nicklaus compares Valentino to “ Nelson Mandela”, after encountering him at the masters in 2019. This honorable gentleman, Valentino, told tiger woods himself that he would “win the tournament in 2019” and he did! Some say Valentino has the greatest golf story ever told, he disagrees and says “ I just want my story motivate people to never give up”.
